I would suggest calling your local MS Society for a list of MS specialists in your area. The other way to go is to speak to other people with MS, see who they go to, who they like, who they don’t like, and why.

I love my neurologist. I trust her implicitly. I know other people who don’t mesh as well with her and prefer to see somebody else, and it does come down to personal relationships, but the only way to find out about that is to try as many as you need.

I don’t suggest doctor hopping to get a better diagnosis, but I do recommend finding somebody you feel comfortable with. And it might take 1, 2, 3, 4 different doctors before you find the right fit, but the MS Society is a great place to start for a list of doctors in your area.
