Divya recalls how her congenital heart defect was diagnosed.

Divya:
As I said, I had this general feeling of not being 100% okay, and I thought maybe I have thyroid or I have high sugar. You know, I just did not feel energetic enough, and I was running out of breath, and lots of people told me that, "You don’t look well. Your complexion doesn’t look good. You seem breathless," and since I had gone back home for a visit and I had time.

The kids were taken of, my parents were there and my in-laws were there, and I had a lot of time at my hand. I said, “Might as well just go for a general check-up," and when I went for the general check-up, they pretty much did everything, and when they came to the heartbeat, it was a very experienced doctor, the general physician, and they didn’t discover it right away because they just saw a slight cosmetic change in the cardiogram.
