I had a tiny scratch on my penis, the nurse said to use Neosporine another nurse said that was the worst thing I could have done. Now I have a tiny spot of psoriasis on that same spot and was told to use Clobestasol Propianate .05 but I have doubts? Any sexual activity at all, even an nocturnal erection causes and outbreak. I'm 65, can anyone help?

Hello and thank you for using EmpowHer,
I'm so glad you asked these questions before using Clobestasol Propianate .05! DO NOT use this medication as a topical cream! It is a very strong and potent cream which will cause more problems if you use it.
From what you said, I think that you have irritation due to using Neosporin, and not from Psoriasis.
I believe that you can cure this rash with a few home remedies which I have listed below:
-use cold compresses for itching or burning
-do not use soaps, unless it is baby soap such as Johnson&Johnson
-wear loose fighting underwear and pants to avoid friction that can irritate the area more
-keep the area as clean as possible
If you do all these things for a week without seeing improvement, then perhaps you do need medication. However, I strongly suggest that you research whatever medication doctors proscribe before using it!
