to start off... i have a relentless anxiety disorder that causes me to overthink EVERYTHING. About 2 months ago my boyfriend used his saliva to finger me & he had some sort of scab by his lip that he now says was a pimple. he said it was painless and went away within a week. but my brain insisted that it was a cold sore & that i have contracted it through his saliva. i have searched the internet for months now & talked to most trusted people in my life regarding it. at this point i have developed itchiness/burning but nothing seemily unusual. i also have fordyce spots around & on my labia which worry me into thinking they are herpes sores. i do not know if i can even contract herpes this way but it has terrified me for 2 months, desperately looking for peace of mind.

Hello, nsbsjdndbsbdbd.
Thank you for posting.
If you or your partner gets cold sores on the mouth, the herpes simplex virus-1 can be transmitted during oral sex and cause herpes in the genital area. Herpes simplex virus-1 also can spread if a person touches the cold sore and then touches a mucous_membrane or an area of the skin with a cut on it. See your GYN to find out what is causing the itching/burning as we cannot know.
Fordyce spots are whitish-yellow bumps that can occur on the edge of your lips or inside your cheeks. Less often, they can appear on your penis or scrotum if you’re male or your labia if you’re female. They are completely normal, harmless, and painless.
