Sonya Zepeda shares advice for women who are looking for love.

Sonya Zepeda:
When you’re looking for love the biggest thing I would say is treat it almost as a job. I think a lot of times, especially with movies and media, we have this hopeless romantic that we’re going to just happen to meet somebody and somebody is going to sweep us off our feet, but if you’re looking for love you need to go out there and actually look for love, seek love and whether that’s going out and doing things…one of the best places I think where you can meet people of the opposite sex is weddings are a great place because you have friends that are there that can kind of tell you the low down on the person. It’s casual; it’s comfortable.

I’m not against bars either. I think bars are actually a good place but I think the big thing that happens there or rather I know the thing that happens there is a lot of times there’s a lot of alcohol that’s involved and then you end up sort of making a fool of yourself. So if you can refrain from over-indulging and maintain your composure then it’s obviously a great place where you can meet people, but the biggest thing is to get out there and not just sit at home waiting for that man to just sweep you off your feet out of nowhere. You have to actually go out there. Seek it; pursue it, do it and put yourself out there.
