I was finally discharged from CTCA yesterday. I was there for almost two weeks! Time seems to fly by in the hospital and there is no concept of time except for when I need to take my meds.

It feels good to be home, although I am nervous that I may have another issue pop up and then I will have to turn around and head back to the hospital! As soon as we arrived home yesterday, I felt a little nauseous. I started drinking tea, taking medication, etc. and nothing seemed to help. I laid down and put an ice pack on my head and for some reason this seemed to do the trick temporarily.

Next week I have my last rounds of radiation. I believe they now want to incorporate the hip bones into the radiation, but I’m not sure if they are able to incorporate them in or if they want to pay an extra fee.
