Ischemic colitis is more common in people over age 60, but younger adults can get it too.
With this type of colitis, there isn’t enough blood flow to the large intestine (colon). That's because an artery that carries blood has been blocked or has narrowed.

Below is a good resource on what to eat and what to avoid with this condition. Among foods that are easily digested -
Apple (no skin) and applesauce
Blueberries
Ripe Pears
White rice
Yogurt
Chicken (steamed)
Scrambled egg
and more
