My son is 20 and was diagnosed with Asperger's at age 15. I have applied for Social Security for him but he has been denied three times. I am currently looking for a doctor who specializes in Aspergers but can't find one. We live in Middlesex County.

Any parent with a young adult who has been diagnosed and has had success with the Social Security System or finding a doctor who can diagnose the sympton, please I need your help.

I have a son, with Asperger / High Functioning Autism.
He is now 32 years old. Since he was 2 years old, his life and my families lives have been in turmoil, anger, very angry,
you could really say that we don't have a "family" anymore.
This situation is an extreme one . My son is a genius, extraordinary intellectual, thats the only good quality, I can say about my son. Its a VERY, VERY sad situation, for my son
and our family . . . .
Don't think that I haven't taken him to Doctor after Doctor, I have ,
NOTHING, . . . . .NOTHING makes a difference . . . . . .
Our situation will always be "pure hell" . . . . . . . til the end .

Hi Cathy,

I'm sorry you have had no success in finding a doctor. I am getting a Middlesex county located in NJ, VA, and MA. Where exactly are you located?
