In the summertime especially when I wear a lot of flip flops my heels will get really dry and they will actually get these little cracks on them. Some of the cracks must be kind of deep because sometimes they hurt. I don't want to give up wearing my flip flops as I live in a really hot climate (Glendale, AZ) and they are so easy to put on/take off. Does anyone have any advice on lotions or whatever that will work to help with this? Thank you.

Dear Anon,
There is a product called Bag Balm that I think can really help heal your cracked heels. What you do is: right before bedtime apply a liberal amount of the product onto your feet, rub it on the cracked parts and then apply white, cotton socks on. Do this every night and you should start to see a difference in your heals. You can also do this twice a day for faster healing.
Hope it helps!
