does medecine trimethoprim kill pinworms i really need to know becaue if not i have to go to doctor to get a new medecine plz help

No, Trimethoprim is used to treat infections of the urinary tract.

Pinworm is an intestinal infection caused by tiny parasitic worms. It is contagious. People become infected by unknowingly ingesting microscopic pinworm eggs that can be found on contaminated hands and surfaces, such as bathroom fixtures, toilets, and bed linens.

If you suspect that you or your child might have pinworms, you must make an appointment to see the doctor. The doctor will confirm the diagnosis and prescribe albendazole, which is the most common treatment.

The doctor may recommend that everyone in your household be treated at the same time.
