Hi Michelle-
Over the summer I had a lumpectomy due to estrogen-receptive Breast Cancer and I'm wondering if you might know an excellent doctor who has experience treating women with Tamoxifin substitutes that are natural such as Indole 3 Carbinol?
We have been given contradictory advice by nutritionists, chiropractors, physicians and oncologists about how to successfully lower my estrogen.
Warmly,
Barbara in Thousand Oaks, CA

Hi Barbara,
I am so sorry that you've had to go through this, Barbara. It's so hard trying to find good information. There is so much misinformation or conflicted information. Some times it can be paralyzing. There are doctors that I can recommend to you. But, for right now, if you don't mind, I'd love to take this question out and ask other women what they know. I actually have a very good friend of mine who is an estrogen receptive breast cancer survivor. She has done a ton of research on this disease. I will contact her as well.
We have a research/scientist by the name of Darlene Jenkins, who also has worked in this area for many years. Let's see what she knows.
Just want to make sure you know that I am not a doctor. We are all
about sharing information and resources. That's why I started the site.
Best,
Michelle
I'll be back in touch.
