Andrea explains how having the REALIZE® Band procedure has improved her overall health.

Andrea:
My overall health has improved quite a bit since the placement of my REALIZE® Band. To be eligible for the procedure there need to be significant health factors and/or a high BMI, Body Mass Index, and mine was plenty high; it was 43.5% and I did not have a lot of other health conditions. I didn’t have high blood pressure or cholesterol.

The things that I noticed were changed for me were I had reflux, especially going to bed at night and that has disappeared, things that aren’t always so pleasant to talk about, incontinence from the weight, especially when you are exercising – that’s totally disappeared. The other things that probably affected me were aches and pains that I don’t have as much anymore or I pretty much don’t have any more.
