Hummus

Hummus is a dip or spread made from chickpeas. It has no saturated fats or cholesterol and contains high levels of protein. It is a great snack to compliment vegetables or crackers and it helps keep you from feeling hungry throughout your busy day. Basic ingredients in hummus include garlic, salt, lemon juice and olive oil, but you can add whatever you want to fit your taste buds.
