How have your symptoms progressed?

By May 22, 2017 - 2:11pm

Hi everyone, I'm Michelle. I'm 22 years old and I was diagnosed at 16. I'm curious to know how your symptoms have changed or progressed over time, and what you do to stay on top of a fairly unpredictable disorder. I've tried to find articles online on how CD can change or progress over time, but I haven't been able to find anything like that.

Description

Conversion Disorder is a very frightening neurological disorder where people have real symptoms of physical illness/conditions but don't actually have the illness/condition itself. This disorder occurs after a person has undergone a very traumatic event including a violent attack or rape, a serious accident, abuse, death or other serious occurrence. The body mimics real symptoms such as an inability to speak, paralysis or even blindness. If you or someone you know is living with Conversion Disorder, this group is the place to come for information guidance and lots of support.
