fibromyalgia
I had contracted lyme disease (3x) this spring.I had seen my doctor for it but never felt that it had left me.Finally my primary care dr. sent me to a rheumatoligist. I was hesitant because my insurance does not cover his fee but my husband told me to go. He suggested that I have fibromyalgia and gave me a 30 day supply of cymbalta. Now I've just run out of the drug, it helped a bit but not significantly, it may not be the correct dosage. Now I have a $228. bill from him . I have been forcing myself to walk every day which hurts like hell, but I don't know what to do. I am unemployed can't run up more bills... My husband just asked me what I'm going to do to make it better?? don't know quite what to do.
I feel for you. I am going thru a fibro flare right now and my husband seems so clueless as what to do to help. Trying bicycling instead of walking; this may help you more. Walking did me the same way. Be patient and try not to stress. That just adds to the discomfort. If the dr gave you 30 day samples, see if you can get more. Being umemployed and not able to find a job can make you hurt more. Try to keep a positive attitude if at all possible. Stay connected
