Hello, Anon!

Thank you for writing today.

Numbness is defined as a loss of feeling or sensation in a portion of your body. It’s often caused by nerve compression or damage to a branch of nerves.

We don't know what kind of surgery you had or the specific details of it. I assume your doctor felt this numbness was not part of the healing process when he ordered the MRI, so you will need to discuss this with him or her, and what this means to your health, moving forward.

Keep us updated.
