My mom is 89 with copd and was told by her doctor today that her liver enzymes count was low, what exactly could that mean?

Hello Anon
Thank you for writing!
We cannot tell you what this means exactly for your mother - the doctor should have explained this. But in general, a low liver enzyme is not considered significant if the patient is otherwise healthy. If not, the doctor needs to explain any significance of low enzymes.
