Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am sorry to hear that you have had two miscarriages. Did your gynecologist give you an explanation as to why this happened twice and at 10 weeks gestation?

In general, mismatched chromosomes account for at least 60 percent of miscarriages and uterine anomalies account for about 10 percent of miscarriages.

PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome is an emerging cause of recurrent miscarriage.

Certain bacteria, particularly mycoplasma hominis and ureaplasma urealyticum, live in the genital tract and can raise the risk for miscarriage. Infections with these bacteria can inflame the lining of the uterus making it impossible for the embryo to develop.

Regards,
Maryann
