My liver area is also sore. About a year ago I had a ct scan for nodules on my neck-they were nonreactive. They are still there. I now have what feels like a lump in my larynx? that itches. It seems to cut off my breathing, especially at night. In addition, I was diagnosed with heart failure 2 months ago. Muscles getting weaker I stay exhausted all of the time. I am 53 years old. Lab work 4 months ago was perfect except for sed rate of 30. My abdomen protrudes a LOT. My doc says that it is not from the CHF. Any help is welcomed!

Hi Daisy,
Thank you for your prompt response. The article was very informative. I made a doctors appointment for January. Also going to the ENT doc. I need a piece of mind.
Thank You,

Hi tammiatlanta,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Any Abdominal mass should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible. Many things can be the cause of a lump in the abdomen. Your doctor might advise in having an ultrasound or ct scan. As for the lump in your larynx, it can be a nodule. But it's also important to see a doctor and have him exam it. Nodules can also form in the larynx. Nodules usually form slowly over time. Nodules cause incomplete contact of the vocal folds, resulting in breathiness, decreased loudness, and vocal fatigue. The nodules can also cause irregular vocal fold vibration, resulting in hoarseness and pitch breaks.
