Unsure believe may be kidneys

We have been to multiple doctors because they have not been able to diagnose what my husband has. As of now waiting on a doctor from Boston almost a year for amilyoid problems not sure spelled correctly. Can’t eat gets sick sometimes throws up sometimes not has problems breathing from mistakes made during an operation. Gets pains on lower right flank area can’t work for over a year now any help appreciated.
