vaynat - Opinions are mixed. Some experts believe peri-oral dermatitis may be related to rosacea, others do not. Peri-oral dermatitis is an acne-like condition of unknown cause that has some similarities to rosacea and is sometimes mistaken for rosacea. It is is a common facial rash that can include small inflamed bumps and water filled blisters or pus spots around the mouth, nose and chin. Steroid creams produce and also aggravate this condition. Hormones may also play a role. Cosmetic products and moisturizers may worsen the rash. A dermatologist can provide expert medical care for this condition if you feel additional support is needed. Pat
