My ankles have been swelling and very painful (usually in the evenings) and there is literally a white stripe on them almost like a tan line. In addition, my ribs have been hurting alot lately. It doesn't seem to matter whether I have spent the day on my feet or off my feet (with them elavated).
I thought I read somewhere that these symptoms can be an offshoot of my condition Spondylolysis.

Hi Krista,
It looks like there are other pains associated with Spondylolysis. According to bettermedicine.com:
This doesn't sound specific to your pain, however, it is not uncommon for pain to "move." Oftentimes, when we feel pain in one part of our body, we overcompensate with other parts. This could be the case.
How long has the pain lasted for? Is it unbearable or not so bad? If it persists, it's best to have a doctor check it out and make sure nothing serious is going on.
Visit http://www.bettermedicine.com/article/spondylosis/symptoms
for more information, and to make sure you don't have any other symptoms that could indicate a more serious condition. Good luck.
Best,
Danielle.
