Should I worry/chances of pregnancy?

Hiya!

So I'm 22. I had sex on the 19th. The app I have showed my period should have started on the 23rd. It's the 26th now and it hasn't came yet. Theres been a few times I've had mild cramps or felt like it was about to start but then checked and it didn't. I'm also rather moody easily annoyed which is how I usually get with pms.
He had a condom on, so that was good, but I know they aren't 100% effective. But I'm not on birth control anymore I stopped after I got dumped in October. This is also the first time I've had sex since then and it was a spontaneous hookup with a friend of mine. So I spose all of these circumstances together are why I'm worrying.

I figured that because it was so close to when the app said my period would start it was fine. It showed ovulation on the 9th but now I'm not sure if maybe it was later since my period is late? And I read something about that even though ovulation is 12-48 hours that you could be fertile for up to 10.
I also know that worrying could in fact make it even later, so I'm trying not to. I just don't know enough about how this all works to know if anything is wrong or not.
I am pretty sure that it will come soon, but it is really stressful when I'm expecting to see blood each time I go to the bathroom and each time it's still not there. It's still only 3 days. But still.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Your odds of pregnancy are extremely low. You had sex less than a week before your period is due so your odds of ovulation - since your cycle is pretty regular - is little to none. You also used a condom. They are 98% effective.

Periods can be late for many reasons, including stress or a simple change in body chemistry. To give yourself full assurance, a pregnancy test would be accurate by now, if you feel like taking one. I'm sure your period will be along very soon.
Best,
Susan
