hi helena. I had unprotected sex on 8th december and i took postinol although i was almost due for my period and i was scared of getting pregnant. i had a week of flow which was quite different from my other period. Although, i had unprotected sex on the 1st of january and i didn't take postinol. I'm really scared now because its 13th january and my next period is not coming, been having cramps for 6days now and breast soreness which prompted me to take a pregnancy test but it came out negative. please help i'm scared

It's not uncommon for the next period to be late after talking ECP. So this might be the case. If you are still concerned, test again in another week. For future, make sure your partner uses protection so you won't have this worry. Stress can also impact a woman's cycle. Try to relax and wait for your period to come.
