Guide

Hello, Anon. Thank for posting.

For the benefit of our readers: DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) is a blood clot in a deep vein, usually in the legs.

Deep vein thrombosis can also be the perpetrator of varicose veins in the abdomen, especially in cases where clotting has previously been an issue in the iliac vein. We cannot know if this is the case for you, but if you have not had these veins looked at, it's a good idea to do so.

Keep us updated.
