Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community.

Please speak with your primary care physician. Constant bloating that leads to shortness of breath is a concern, as is the constipation.

I am not qualified to make a diagnosis, but a bloating feeling and diarrhea or constipation, sometimes alternating, are two symptoms of IBS or irritable bowel syndrome.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder that affects the large intestine (colon). Irritable bowel syndrome commonly causes cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation. IBS is a chronic condition that you will need to manage long term.
