Hello,
I was on my 6th day of my cycle (just finishing my period). The condom split so I took the first tablet of postinor2 2 hours later (1am). We then had unprotected sex 6 hours later (7am). I took the 2nd postinor tablet 3 hours later(10am).
8 days later I had heavy bleeding lasting 4 days. Firstly, is this a sign that postinor worked?
Since then i have had no sign of my period.
In the last 2 weeks (aboit 22nd day of cycle) I have had the flu and been unwell. This has all made me quite anxious.
My period cycle is quite irregular.

hello my last period was 20 july ..

As long as you are not pregnant, there is nothing to do but wait.
Duphaston has many purposes, from helping at-risk pregnancies to not self-terminate, to irregular cycles to treating endometriosis. One of the side effects is that it can cause temporary disruption to the menstrual cycle (even as it treats irregularity!). Wait another month and see if your cycle evens out. If not, talk to your doctor. Do NOT have unprotected sex. Even if you are not seeing your period at the moment, you may ovulate at any time and a pregnancy can occur.

I had unprotected sex and took the emergency pill I first had an early light flow for 5 days but since then I haven't seen my period. My period was meant to come on the 3rd of March but this is the 22nd of march and I still haven't seen it. I've tested many times and I know I am not pregnant. What do I do? am really scared.

Thank you for writing!
There is no need for concern - taking the emergency pill can cause bleeding and then a month long delay for your next period (sometimes a little longer or shorter).
Your cycle should reset itself in the next couple of weeks.

hi,I made out with my boyfriend on 28th of December last year,he pulled out before he could cum,but I took postinor 2 because that was my ovulation period. my period came the normal time and flow days in january but I'm yet to have my February period. I feel normal,no symptoms of pregnancy. is this normal?

Your period in January would be proof you are not pregnant. As you can see from the many comments below, ECP can cause irregularity in your menstrual cycle.

You can test for pregnancy 14-21 days after sex to ease your mind. It would be accurate by then. Keep in mind, ECP can cause period irregularity as you can see by the many comments below. If your test is negative, you will just have to wait it out. Consider using protection for the future.

I always have a 28 days cycle.On the 10th of my cycle,the condom burst i took postinor 2 and i saw my period in the 16th day of my cycle which lasted only 2 days and after 3 days i had sex and the condom burst again.Any need of me taking postinor 2 since my ovulation day is still far?

I saw my period last one day before I had unprotected sex with my Boyfriend, after taking postinor2 the next day, one week later I started bleeding for a week and few days, now it's past the date I saw my last period before taking postinor2, I feel like my stomach is bloating and my breasts are really Tender, I am really getting scared because I think I might be pregnant..
