Thanks so much. Your feedback has been a real help. I'll be looking closely into that. Also, what kind of lubricants are best, oil, foam, or water based? Certain lubricants tend to irritate and burn. He has a very unhealthy habit himself of smoking weed and in the past has had erectile problems so this may also contribute to lowering the risk.

Water-based is most commonly recommended, unless there is an allergy you are aware of, then select the one that's right for you. I wouldn't count on his smoking weed as a birth control method. Protect yourself. You may want to work on taking steps toward lowering your stress level about this so you don't need to be concerned about it in the future and guess at numbers of probability.

Me and my boyfriend had sex, he did not penetrate me because he could not fit and he did not ejaculate, there were absolutely no fluids released from him. There was, however genital contact without the condom. This happened about six days after my period. Because there were not much major fluids released and the date in which it happened, i'm assuming I can't really get pregnant but is there a high chance that I can still get pregnant or should I really not be worrying?

well we had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago. i just heard that you can get a clear or white discharge or cramping during the time the egg is traveling down but i guess my sources are wrong ! i'll take another test in a week or so.
i hope it turns out positive.

Okay, so i'm due for a period for 2 weeks, but i've been getting cramps on and off everyday. i had unprotected sex multiple times with my boyfriend. i never get cramps as it is. and my utereus sometimes feels swollen. i was off birth control for 2 weeks before we had unprotected sex and had only been taking the pill for about 2 months as it is, and missed taking the pill from time to time.. so we think i might be pregnant and we for sure aren't upset about it. but i'd like to know if it's possible to get cramping while the egg is traveling to the uterus, or if there are any other signs you might be able to tell that early? thanks

Hi Anonymous,
February 8, 2011 - 8:37amYou can wait a few more days and take another home pregnancy test. If it's still negative, your period really is just late. Those tests are super sensitive to the pregnancy hormone your body produces if you are pregnant.
If you go another month with no period, you may want to get in to see a medical professional to see what could be going on. Normally doctors want to see you if you go 90days without a period, but living overseas, I would completely understand you may not want to let it go that long in case something is wrong. There are several things that can cause you to not get your period. Here is a list:
Secondary Amenorrhea Causes
Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
