Q:

My period isn't due for two weeks but my uterus is sore and I'm having cramps off and on could I be pregnant or maybe ovulating?

He used a condom, and I haven't had it this month. But I'm not very regular either.

Thank you for coming back and giving more information. It is unlikely you are pregnant since you used a condom. But if you are concerned, take a pregnancy test to confirm if you are having an irregular period or not. If you normally are irregular, you may not be concerned. It is not uncommon too, for a woman to skip a period now and again based on if you have had any stress, sickness, change in eating patterns, etc. or just naturally.
Take care, and let us know if you need additional information.

I'm not Shurw the exact day I had sex, and I'm not sure when I ovulate, but my period usually comes around the 20th. Give orbtakeba few days. The sex was protected. But I've been hoveing minor cramps. I guess the sex was maybe two weeks ago?
What's the chance I'm pregnant?

When you say the sex was protected, what do you mean by that? Are you on birth control, or did you use a condom? If you did use proper protection, the likelihood of you being pregnant is low. You possibly are having pre-menstrual cramping, or middle-cycle cramps (called mittleschmerz). Did you get your period this month? If you didn't, you can take a home pregnancy test, or call your doctor's office to request a pregnancy test.

Hi Anonymous,
That sounds frustrating. Are you still getting the cramping? Is it related to your menstrual cycle, or do you think it's something else? I don't know which is your original post, so sorry if you already explained this.

Hi anon,
I am assuming you have posted previously, but with so many "anonymous" users, I am not sure which post was yours. You said your cramps are getting worse, but your test results will be ready tomorrow.

What test results are you referring to? Have you talked with your doctor about your increasing pain? Please do not hesitate to call your doctor if your pain becomes more severe.

I had sex exactly six days after my period, my period had come on time afterwards. My menstrual cycle had been normal and my period lasted for a full seven days (the normal amount of time. I assumed I was in the clear zone (wasn't pregnant) since I had had my period when it was due but I believe I'm a few days late. After my period I had gotten sick and have been lately battling with an extreme case of insomnia so I started taking nyquil almost every night for about a week straight so I am not sure if this may contribute to a late period. I have been a little mood lately and have felt very fat and bloated in my stomach (I usually get these symptoms before my period). So could I be pregnant or is my period just late due to stress. I'm hoping I'm not since I had a normal period.

Hi Anon, if you got your period after having unprotected sex then you are not pregnant. This month you are most likely late because you were ill. Keep us posted!
