Hi Anon,
Thank you for sharing with EmpowHER's community! I am very sorry to hear about your recent miscarriage. That is extremely difficult for anyone to experience.
It's very important to understand that the miscarriage was not your fault. You may be blaming yourself, but you must realize that there is nothing you could have personally done to prevent it. Miscarriages happen for a variety of reasons, and a lot of times it's even difficult for doctors to pinpoint the exact cause. Make an appointment with your doctor to get more information about why the miscarriage may have occurred. It is very common for miscarriages to occur in the first trimester, and many women don't even know they are pregnant when it occurs.
Make sure you are spending time with family and friends for added support. They can serve as a great support system of love and comfort during such a tough time. There are also several miscarriage groups that can help offer support. Support groups are a great way to connect with other women who have also experienced miscarriages and can help you get through it by sharing their personal stories and advice. Your doctor and hospital may know about a local miscarriage support group they can connect you with.
Here is an article on EmpowHER that talks about some ways to ease your grief after a miscarriage: https://www.empowher.com/miscarriage/content/miscarriage-and-grief-your-emotions. Here are posts from other women in our community who have experienced miscarriages too: https://www.empowher.com/condition/miscarriage/community. This is another resource where you can reach out to women who have experienced the same thing you have and get support.
I hope this helped, and please know we are here to support you if you need anything else. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have other questions or just need someone to talk to :)
Best,
