I have lower back pain just below my waist on the left side. I also have spinal stenosis. What could be causing this left side pain?

Guide

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Muscle strain on the left side of the spine is the most common source of lower left back pain. Strain on the muscles supporting and surrounding the spine may come from overuse, or from simple injuries such as uncomfortable sleeping positions or prolonged standing or sitting. If this pain worsens or you suspect it's not a strained muscle, see your doctor.
