lower back pain

hi i just want to ask what may be the cause of lower back pain on my right side. it hurts when i press it unlike in the left everything seems normal. sometimes the pain comes to my legs up to my foot.

Guess it is the best that you go to see a doctor. The lower back pain causes by many reasons. It hard to say by only some descriptions.

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Here is a list of some of the causes for lower back pain.

 

  • Any kind of injury to the back muscles or ligaments or joints
  • Muscle strain or imbalance in muscles
  • The compression of the sciatic nerve, or the sciatica
  • Ruptured or herniated disc
  • Kidney stone / kidney infection
  • Spondylolysis / osteoporosis
  • Obesity
  • Improper posture while walking, sitting, sleeping or lifting objects
  • Improper stretching exercises or lifting heavy objects
It's important to see your doctor, you might need imaging test done to know the real cause of your pain.
