I would like to know why I have incontinence worse after a hysterectomy and bladder sling done and painful sex.

i had a hysterectomy and a bladder sling done on jan.09. 5month later i have more trouble with incontinence. i feel that i cannot emty my bladder fully and i am always going to the bathroom. also it is painful when having sex. it feel like my husband is hitting my pelvic floor or maybe the bladder sling. never had this kind of pain before the surgery. is this common and should i have the sling taken out?

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such pain. I recommend you consult your doctor and discuss this combination of issues.

I hope someone else who has had a bladder sling done reads this and comments.
