Hi Anon, Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community!

Levothyroxine is a replacement for a hormone normally produced by your thyroid. It’s prescribed primarily to treat hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone).

What’s happening that makes you feel it’s not suited for you? Is there a specific reaction that you are experiencing?

Here is some additional information to consider about this medication: https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/levothyroxine Be sure to make note of specific reactions and team up with your health care provider and discuss potential alternative, solutions, etc.

Again, if there is a specific reaction you’re experiencing and would like more information on, please don’t hesitate to reach out again.
