I had surgery to stop my periods about 6 years ago and I turned 50 this year and now I'm. Keeping all the time mostly it's very light bust sometimes a little heavy. Is this because of menopause or could it be something else?

What is the surgery you had to stop your periods? Was it a uterine ablation?
If it caused your periods to stop for 6 years and you are suddenly bleeding again, you need to see your gynecologist to determine the cause. While you may be entering menopause, you still need to have constant bleeding checked.
