Hello, Anon. Thank you for writing.

It's probably unlikely the chocolate is causing the blood. But you should mention any foods that you are able to consume to your doctor.

Coughing up blood (hemoptysis) can be a sign of a serious medical condition. Infections, problems in blood vessels, or in the lungs themselves can be responsible, among other causes. Your doctor should be notified. We cannot know why you are coughing up blood, and seemingly only once a month. A medical evaluation is needed.
