I woke up this morning with a UTI. i went to the doctor this morning and about 14 hours ago i started taking the antibiotic ciprofloxacin. i have also been taking Azo pain relief. i get UTIs frequently and usually Azo helps a lot but with this one it doesn't seem to be working as well. I feel very weak with no appetite. Usually I have relief with the antibiotics after the first dose but this time i have taken two doses and still feel the same. Is this something i should be concerned about? Thanks

Guide

Hi Catherine and thanks for your question.

You should start to feel better within one to two days after starting antibiotics, and may just need to give this a little more time. If you don't feel better by the third day, call your doctor.

Hope that helps,

Pam
