Hot Flashes

I am 41years old and in 2000 I had my uterus out and the first 6months I had hot flashes but they settled down and finally quit within that 6month time frame. Now in 2009 I had my ovaries and tubes out and ever since then I have had severe hot flashes no matter what time of day/night or season. I was first put on Premerin but stopped it due to the fact that it can cause cancer. What can I do to prevent or ease up the hotflashes?
My husband doesn't understand it. He doesn't think that I should be so hot all the time. I get a flush all over me and I am so hot from the inside out and sweat just pours off of me. It doesn't matter if it is morning, noon, evening or middle of the night. Sometimes I feel like I am on a 24hr. hotflash. I don't even need the heat in the winter time. I sleep in one room and he sleeps in the other. He needs the heat and I need a fan. Can someone please tell me what I can do toget us back together and to ease my discomfort. Not only is it uncomfortable but it is embarassing when out in public. I will appreciate any and all responses. Thank you so much for listening.

Hi JMB,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer.

There are many women who deal with hot flashes and I know it can be life altering. Here is a great way to treat hot flashes naturally. Perhaps this will help you since you don't care for the Western Medicine. Click here https://www.empowher.com/menopause/content/10-tips-treating-menopause-naturally.

Let me know if this helps.
