I have palpatations and they come and go.

The chances of your heart palpitations going away will depend on the cause and whether or not it needs treatment. Possible causes may include:
--Strong emotional responses, such as stress or anxiety
--Strenuous exercise
--Caffeine
--Nicotine
--Hormone changes associated with menstruation, pregnancy or menopause
--Taking cold and cough medications that contain pseudoephedrine, a stimulant
--Taking some asthma inhaler medications that contain stimulants

If the palpitations continue, I suggest you see a cardiologist to make sure nothing serious is going on.
