could i have miscarried or something??

I had sex with my boyfriend while I was ovulating (I think that's the right word, for when your most fertile on the days before your period) and I got my period the next day, it only lasted two or three days. 3 1\2 weeks after having sex I got what at first seemed like a period but was much heavier and more painful and the pain was more centered around my pelvic area where as on a normal period it would be total body aches and pains. There was lots of heavy bleeding to the point where I has to wear tampons and pads together and there was lots of small clotting and then a large clot, about one inch long, after a large clot I continued with heavy bleeding and it slowly stopped bleeding but the pains continued. The 'period' all together lasted about two weeks, and now its three days after it stopped I'm still having minor pains. I haven't told my boyfriend or my parents cause I don't want to freak them out if its nothing. But I'm starting to think something's wrong...

It sounds to me like you indeed had a miscarriage.

I am sure that you are feeling very scared and nervous and don't want to tell anybody, but you need to discuss this with your parents.
I recommend that you call your doctor.
If you have miscarried, your doctor will do a pelvic exam and an ultrasound to confirm the miscarriage. If the uterus is clear of any fetal tissue, or it is very early in the pregnancy, then there often won't be any more treatment.
But if the uterus still contains the fetus or other tissues from the pregnancy, this will need to be removed. The doctor may give you medicine to help pass the tissue or may need to dilate the cervix to perform a dilation and curettage (or D&C, which is a scraping of the uterine lining) or a dilation and extraction (or D&E, which is a suction of the uterus to remove fetal or placental tissue). You may have bleeding or cramping after these procedures, which are done with anesthesia.
