Hi I had intercouse with my bf 5 days after my period we use protection an after I took postinor 2 pills beacause I think precum got on my virginia I took one pill a few minutes after an the other 12 hours after that but I am spotting brown an I am getting lower back an belly pains is this normal? I don't want to get pregnant

Please go and get pregnancy tests a sap... don’t hesitate, I know it’s scary. I have been through it. it’s better to find out and make quick decisions before it’s too late.

I took Postinor 2 within 12 hours of the broken condom and i didnt have sex since.The Postinor 2 pill did not bring my period but i am getting slight stomach cramps. Is there any possible chance i can still become pregnant?

I got worried so i took the pill within 12hours. But i heard it gets less effective as days go by, and my ovulation will arrive the same the time as the amt of time sperms live inside the body (so i read). Is it still possible to get pregnant? It was not necessary to take Postinor 2 because you could not have been ovulating on Thursday which would have been four days after your period.
Postinor 2 can be 95% effective in preventing pregnancy if taken withing the first 24 hours following unprotected sex. Its effectiveness drops to 89% if taken up to 72 hours after.
Anonymous, I don't think you have to worry about being pregnant. However, changes to the menstrual cycle are a side effect of this pill. Your next period could start earlier or later than normal, and the flow could be lighter or heavier than normal.

Hello samantha rachel,
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive that should be taken only in the event of a contraceptive failure, such as the condom breaks. It should not be taken as a birth control.
