Hello. Thank you for posting.
I'm not sure what you mean by "w residue diet." Do you mean on a low residue diet? If so, strawberries should be avoided as they have seeds.
A low residue diet limits high-fiber foods, like whole-grain bread and cereals, nuts, seeds, raw or dried fruits, and vegetables.
"Residue" is undigested food, including fiber, that makes up stool. The goal of the diet is to have fewer, smaller bowel movements each day. That will ease symptoms like diarrhea, bloating, gas, and stomach cramping.
Fruits you can eat while on a low residue include:
Soft/ripe peeled fruit without pips or seeds. Canned peaches or pears. Melon, apricots, and ripe bananas.
Vegetables:
Peeled, well-cooked, soft/mashable vegetables low in fiber are best.
Potatoes (without skins)
Avoid raw vegetables/salad. Baked beans, split peas/lentils, peas, sweetcorn and celery
All seeds, pips, and skins. Cabbage can cause gas and/or bloat, so I would avoid eating this on a low residue diet.
