I've always had regular periods even after I miscarried (one year ago) and then a few months ago I had what was I guess a "fluke month" because my period was 12 days late but I never tested positive with a HPT and then eventually started my period. Anyways, after then, I haven't had my regular normal period with like 26 days between lasting 660-346-86827 days. Now it's more like a whole month between them and they last 8-9 days and even after the normal flow, I'll have random light bleeding (pinkish brown) with clear discharge with it for a few days after. What's going on and whaf should I do? What could be causing this?

Hi Anonymous and thanks for your question.
Is it possible that you have entered what's known as perimenopause? This is the time before the actual start of menopause -- that span before the periods stop completely for at least 12 months. It's often characterized by changes in monthly cycles. Please see this article written for the EmpowHER community for more information: Could You Be In Early Menopause?
Hope this helps,
Pam

Hi Anon - No, at 19, it's not likely to be menopause.
A woman's menstrual cycle is regulated by a fine balance of hormones. It is quite possible that you have an imbalance of thyroid or pituitary hormones. If your period does not return to a normal flow, I suggest you schedule an appointment with your physician.
