I took the antibiotic doxycycline at 2:00pm yesterday it led to diarrhea later i woke up around 2:00 AM to take another since im supposed to take it every 12 hours. minutes later my heart started pounding fast and irregularly. This carried on for another 10 hours. im not sure if i should take a third dose. is it okay to stop already?

Do not take another dose. Call your doctor about this right away. A fast heart rate is listed as one of the more serious side effects, among others.
