About Dr. Reiman, M.D.:
Dr. Eric M. Reiman is Executive Director of the Banner Alzheimer's Institute as well as the lead researcher. He is internationally recognized for his pioneering contributions to the fields of brain imaging, behavioral neuroscience, and Alzheimer's disease research. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, the recipient of research grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Alzheimer's Association, other foundations, and the state of Arizona. Additionally, Dr. Reiman serves as Clinical Director of the Neurogenomics Division at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen); Professor and Associate Head of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona; and Director of the Arizona Alzheimer's Consortium, which involves eight leading biomedical research institutions in Arizona.
