1. How can I be intimate without risking the chance of being pregnant?

A: You need to make sure you are emotionally ready for sex. Do not be sexually active if you are paranoid about pregnancy. You need to educated and mature enough to know all about sex and the importance of birth control firsts - otherwise you'll be miserable all the time.

2. What kind of prenatal vitamin should I be taking?

A: A healthy diet is the best way to get all the vitamins and nutrients you need. But, if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, taking a daily prenatal vitamin will ensure good health for you and your baby. Some research suggests that prenatal vitamins decrease the risk of having a baby who is small for his or her gestational age.

3. Can I go swimming with a UTI?

A: Where you swim matters. The chlorine and chemicals used to treat a pool might cause irritation and make urination more painful. Any swimming water that you encounter, in a pool, at a beach or lake, does not enter your urinary tract.
