I am 27 years old. I currently stuggle with infertility and possibly progesterone defiencey. I had been on BC pill for about 4- years and once I stopped taking them in hopes of trying to start a family, is when all my problems began to happen. I went about a year or so without having a period. The Dr's tried giving me multipal drugs to try and make them happen and it did not work. To be honest, these drugs even made me a little crazy. I also tried taking a supplement called Vitex which is susposed to help regulate menstrual cycles. This supplement did work initally, but after a few months stopped working. I was giving a synthetic progestrone dose by my Dr. in the year 2008 and it seemed to help but I continue to have many problems. I have headaches, gallbladder deisese(taken out in March 2010), hot flushes, fatigue, exhaustion, dizzy spells, bloating..to name a few. I am 27 and most days I feel like I am 80! I never have energy and feel sick to my stomach a lot. I have also had some struggle with insomina. After taking a sleep study, they determinded there was nothing wrong with my sleep ( great!...no, I just have a huge bill to pay!).
I have been to many Dr's, OB's and endracronoigist to try and figure something out. My blood work always comes back fine, but I dont feel fine! I am frustrated because so often I feel like the Dr's I talk to are not listening and are only interestedin giving me drugs to see if something works. I dont like to be a ginne-pig! I will be going to a different OB soon in hopes that this one will help me figure out what is going on. I have a huge feeling that it has a lot if not all to do with my hormones since all this started to happen once I had stopped taking BC pill. I wonder if its low progestrone? Anyone out there with the same struggles?

I just found out that my progesterone level is in the single digits (I don't know the exact number yet). What does anyone know about low progesterone levels? what should I be concerned about? What ...
