My story does not begin with me, nor does it end with me. It derives from a best friend who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 24. Now, over three years later she continues to fight an uphill battle and I want to remind her everyday I am committed to encouraging all the women battling cancer and other diseases to take charge of their mind and body to overcome these obstacles before them, and battle tremendously as my dear friend Christine continues to do every single day.
