After serving in the US Air Force, this former military Fitness Program Manager with over 13 years of hands-on experience, brings an extensive knowledge of all aspects of exercise program development and health education to her specialized training style. A native of Germany, Maria started her career driven by a passion for serious fitness and love for the outdoors. She began creating training exercise and nutrition workshops for individuals of all genders and ages at all of her jobs and has since then made her passion her career. Maria graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Health Sciences Health Education (MSHS) and PhD in Health Sciences (Dissertation "Physical Activity and Quality of Life during the Menopausal Transition"). She received her certification as a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Maria speaks German and Spanish and believes that fitness should be fun and can be part of everyone’s life. In addition to providing personal training, group exercise classes, and health education workshops, she also teaches at the College of Health Sciences at Trident University International.
