Where to start....well I have always had issues with my stomach, since I was a baby, I also started having moodswings, depression etc and by the time I was 16 I was finally diagnosed as a Celiac. I'm an a-typical Celiac, meaning I don't get alot of the tell tale signs such as the malnutrition. I had weight gain, stomach problems, breathing problems etc. I also have asthma which seems to be under better control with a gluten free diet. I progressed to having skin reactions to gluten a few years ago, and can't even play playdough with my kids without gloves most days. But I have been fairly gluten free for 10 years (with a few minor setbacks, and some accidental glutenings) and I feel really good and I want to keep it that way.
